About This Office
The Women's Resource Center's mission is to provide programs and services that support and uphold the principle that women have the right to choose and maintain a life free from oppression and violence. The Women's Resource Center supports a feminist philosophy which places a high value on the individuality and equality of women and all persons, and is committed to enhancing the dignity, self-worth and self-confidence of women. Our Barbara J. Hart Justice Center provides legal assistance to program participants, including representation, consultation and court preparation. Services include safety planning, Protection From Abuse orders, child custody, child support, divorce, nuisance ordinances from landlords, evictions, consumer debt, banking and tax issues, immigration issues, and employment cases.
